Most artists cannot boast a mere thousand plays on their first release, but LA-based rising star TYSM has already hit 400,000 on Spotify and SoundCloud combined on her first official release, “Honeymoon Phase,” in the first week alone. The newest signing to Felix Snow’s EFFESS label, TYSM has already perfected the infectious, sweet pop brand that has been trendy as of recent (most notably, that of Gold by Kiiara, a fellow artist discovered by Snow and signed to EFFESS). It is impossible not to be entranced by TYSM’s pure yet somber vocals as she softly sings, “and I know if you left I’d be okay/but I don’t want to be okay/I want to be crazy.”
