On Tuesday, October 3, Broken Social Scene will be at the Fillmore on tour for their latest album Hug of Thunder. This is their first new music after a 7-year hiatus, and features performances by all 15 of the original band members, including Feist, Kevin Drew, and Emily Haines. Hug of Thunder rumbles with distorted guitar chords and powerful vocals but brings comforting words in the lyrics in “Gonna Get Better” and “Mouth Guards for the Apocalypse.”
